  Why I`m not against the death penalty....one reason...their are more

  you have all read in newspapers , heard it on tv, radio ,of the 23 year old indian woman student who was gang raped recently by no less than 10 men on a bus then severely beaten with an iron bar and then thrown off the bus in singapore and has since died of her injuries .. those perpretrators of that crime are deserving of the death sentence in my book .. if you willfully take a life or ,are a party to it ,you automatically forfeit your own life .that`s my philosophy .. what`s yours.

  The death penalty, IMHO, can never be part of a civilised society.

  No semantics. Men are caught and PROVEN to be the gang rapist violent killers. Death or not?

  Think About It

  In some cases I am for death quickly and painfully. I'll cite just 3 resent examples.

  1. The Indian gang rape death. Do a quick trial, then death.

  2. The guy who shot and killed the firemen. He should have been put to death long ago for killing his grandmother with a hammer. If he would have been put to death, then he could have not later on killed the firemen.

  3. The guy who massacred all those people in the movie theater. Don't care if he claims he's insane or not. Quick trial, then death.

  i was in an used bookstore this weekend and saw a new world translation and some other society publications.

  this made me think, what did others do with their books?

  i gave mine to my mother, 22 years ago.

  JWN legend has it that WT literature.......... They're the equivalent of Smurf dolls.

  My WTS bound volumes were evidently pissed at just sitting on the bookcase shelves and me not using them. They each flew off shelf, and ran out of the house saying, "Fuck this shit."

  What a Week! The Bees Got Married!

  what a wonderful holiday season!

  time with family, time for fun, and in the midst of it all - we got married!

  after christmas we were in palm springs for the weather and golf, but took off for nevada on thursday and tied the knot in a sweet, simple ceremony.

  on the plus side there was good council about families and then there is that special feeling of the brotherhood you get.. on the negative side, the d.o.

  gave the "ol talk about the "busier we are, it won't seem like the new world is taking so long" talk.

  that's fine if you do'nt work for a living.

  im flipping the channels and peter popoff is on, how in the word can anybody fall for this,in all seriousness, i see how ppl far for mormons ,jw,catholic etc.. but this,wow he has these old people with canes he throws there canes on the stage ,hit then in the head and these old people are running around dancing like there in a jay-z video.

  first off, i owe this site a tremendous debt of gratitude.

  i have been an inactive witness for 4 glorious years, and the spark that began my fade out of the organziation was this site and paul's jwfacts.com.

  it opened my eyes to a whole new world of insight, and i discovered that there were so many people out there like me - still a "spiritual" individual, but completely disgusted with the jw organization.

  the society takes the hundred year anniversary of 1914 head-on with more spin and disinformation.

  already laid the groundwork with the "100 years ago" feature in the new yearbook.

  Think About It

  I predict a WTS major money scandal involving persons associated with the Legal Dept. The WTS is a legalism/organization based religion who has given way too much power & influence to lawyers. Too much WTS religious falsehood, too many laywers, and too much money involved, before somebody is tempted to get out of Dodge with a wagonload of money. If the WTS swims with sharks, they connot continue to keep from getting bit.

  Horrible day

  i just had to come on here and vent - i'm having a horrible day.. firstly, had to sit through a horrible public talk about obedience to the "superior authorities" (whoever they decide that is this week) - all kinds of crazy stuff taking verses in romans way out of context.. then had to sit through that hideous watchtower defending david.

  one brother actually used the words "we want to follow in david's footsteps" - i was nearly ready to vomit.

  just a total gloss-over.

  Think About It

  Young man don't be so hard on yourself. You must not beat yourself up over not saying anything. You need to be in survival mode right now, and still do whatever it takes to stay in good spirits to enjoy your life. You know TTATT and that is all that matters at this time. Just be happy that you are now awake. You will escape this in due time.

  looking back now it is almost as if i became an atheist but still believed in my religion.
